Privacy Notice

How Resurrection Power University, Wyoming collects, uses, protects, and retains website information.

Effective and last updated: September 7, 2026.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide, including your name, verified email address, telephone number, postal address, physical study location, intended program, academic history, prerequisite credentials, statements, uploaded application documents, electronic signature, application decisions, offer acceptance, enrollment status, messages, and other form submissions. Applicants should not submit Social Security numbers, bank information, or payment-card data through document upload. For restricted-site and institutional-system access, we record the verified email address, assigned University ID and role, account status, verification requests and results, sign-in and sign-out activity, security-sensitive actions, IP address, approximate city, region and country, device category, browser, operating system, pages requested, access time, and successful, unsuccessful, suspended, or denied access attempts.

How we use information

We use applicant information to create and identify application records, determine location and program eligibility, evaluate credentials and admission, communicate requirements and decisions, document consent and offer acceptance, create approved student accounts, and maintain institutional records. We use approved-email lists, one-time email verification, individual institutional accounts, role-based permissions, one-use invitations, and other access information to authenticate users, limit each person to assigned systems, protect academic and administrative records, investigate suspected misuse, maintain audit and security records, respond to inquiries, operate admissions and academic services, and improve reliability. Approximate location is inferred from the network address; we do not use this access system to collect continuous GPS location.

Sharing and sale

We may disclose information to authorized RPUW personnel and service providers that support hosting, authentication, security, communications, and institutional operations; to protect rights and safety; or when legally required. RPUW does not sell restricted-site access records and does not use them for behavioral advertising.

Retention

One-time verification challenges expire after 10 minutes. Institutional sign-in sessions ordinarily expire after eight hours, and additional verification for sensitive actions ordinarily expires after 10 minutes. QR invitations expire after 24 hours and become unusable after one successful verification or revocation. A trusted-browser record ordinarily remains valid for up to 90 days unless removed earlier. Ordinary access logs are ordinarily retained for 90 days. Security incidents and institutional audit records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for investigation, legal obligations, litigation, accreditation evidence, academic-record integrity, or protection of the University. Applicant and student records follow separate institutional retention requirements.

Security and choices

We use access controls and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No Internet system can be guaranteed completely secure. Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, educational, or institutional purposes.

Children

This postsecondary-education website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through the restricted-access service.

Contact and changes

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@rpuw.education. We may update this notice as services or legal requirements change and will revise the date above.
